It's Here! 2024
TWENTY TWENTY FOUR! Let us not steer too fast, but instead enjoy the slow pace of “steady love.”
As we (Business Owners) plan our to do list, remember the first thing to think of, is self. For I, have not put together a routine since our time-out (Covid), and although that was “get in” time for most, I was already in a “on the go” phase. Spending the year of 2023 with self, guided I, in making future plans. So, first thing first I’ve been challenging self, to “get up”, at the sound of my alarm, and immediately start my day. One week in, and my grade is about a “C”
Oh, and just know! I appreciate all of the surveys that you all completed, by the way, “you all, is not yal”, lol IYKYK.
This year, women empowerment is at the top of my “to do list”, as well as socials, and game nights. The goal is to find those that are awesome but don’t know it yet, as well as getting in game mode with beautiful people of all groups. One week in, and plenty more weeks to explore. I’m looking forward to serving looks, and criticizing events and spaces of business. With that being said, let me tell you all about my first week.
Temu is not it, but it helped me serve some looks. Look, let me tell you, BAY-BEEE! Imma make this one statement then continue on. If you rock Temu with a designer you oughta be ashamed of yourself. Always wear Temu with Temu, dressing it up with designer bags, shoes, or jewelry is tacky and an insult to the designer. You read it here first, don’t be tacky. “Nay know.” If you disagree just throw it in reverse, know not.
Sooo, let’s talk Bridgeport art center, Bocacina lakeview, and Bonefish Lagrange.
I wasn’t too surprised when visiting Bridgeport Art Center, but I was stunned by some of the artwork, and layout of the cubicles. Walking into each space gave a sense of beauty. Given that there was natural light, and plenty of hues to explore in many complexities, such as canvas work, texturized work, and sculptures. While moving from floor to floor, I was able to appreciate the openness of event spacing as chandeliers glistened above my head, while receiving the warmth of exposed brick. Pictures were a must. I’m just salty, their boutiques were not open on the day of my birthday visit. Then again, It was the day after New Years, but hey, let’s move one.
Bocacina was festive. When entering the first thing I recognized was the great music. After being held hostage for about 10 mins, we were able to enjoy the loud friendly people, within the attractive atmosphere. Sitting at the bar was cozy, and just know there were cheer battles between the beautiful bartender and I. It was a well needed night out. I enjoyed the margarita flight, paired with a roasted salad. The menu was extensive, with igloo options, so you know what that mean. I’m going again!!
Now getting to the flow of bonefish, I’m not sure if it was the crowd, the time or my emotions, but what I will say is, I left after appetizers. I’d have to revisit to know if it was worth it, but my mind was gone, that left me feeling crappy.
So there you have it, week one of what will be a year of mysteries.
Sincerely,
Renate L Ware
